Art Depot

The gallery was given the name of the Art Depot in honour of Palestine's rich Railroad heritage and the them is displayed in the decor. The shop is 6,000 sqft in a historical building located downtown. There is a newer and larger location which has a frame shop and large gallery as well as an online Art Mall's order fulfilment centre.

Star of Texas Antiques

This stores is located in what was once the Gem Movie Theatre. The building has been beautifully restored and has a lovely collection of quality furniture, china, glassware, majolica and linens. There is also a large collection of vintage books which is said to be probably the best selection in East Texas. In 2002, the store was voted the 'Best Anique Shop' by the readers of the Palestine Herald Press.

The Silver Lady

Within the Old Magnolia Mercantile is a counter belonging to the Silver Lady which has quite a large variety of good quality silver jewellery as well as gifts and collectibles. If you're lucky they will be having a sale and you can pick up some excellent buys.

Murals of the Art Depot

The gallery was first started in 1976 by Beth Johnston and was named Beth's Originals. She sold her original paintings and also did custom framing for her customers. In 1999 her son and wife purchased the business. Two lovely murals adorn the side wall of the building.

Old Magnolia Mercantile

In this old building in the old downtown area is the Old Magnolia Mercantile. There are several nooks and crannies throughout this open plan store which display a variety of antiques, crafts and books.
