    • The theatre was built in 1926 and was known to be the best theatre with an organ which was used during the silent movies. The theatre hosts classic movies and other community events.

    The Palestine Community Theatre has about 6 live productions a year which they perform in the theatre, one of them is during the Texas Dogwood Trail. They are still completing renovations to the theatre.

     If you turn right at the resivoir and go down a few miles their should be a sign for fisherman's point marina and resturaunt.They have tent and camper spots,with or without electric and water,cabins on the lake for very reasonable prices .
