Devil's Bowl Speedway

The racing season runs is from March through to November on Friday and Saturday nights. The one half-mile racetrack features all types of vehicle races, including sprint cars, super modified, modifieds, and motorcycles.

Driving Range

The grounds are well laid out with beautifully landscaped gardens. There is a driving range as well. This is a private club though.

Dallas Athletic Club

This is quite an amazing club. This club features two championship eighteen hole courses. Jack Nicklaus won the 1963 PGA Championship here, and later redesigned both courses in 1985.

Mesquite Rodeo

The season for rodeo runs from April through to September on Friday and Saturday nights. The facilities include grandstand seating for 6,500, a restaurant and Pony rides and Kiddie Korral for youngsters.

E.H. Hanby Stadium

This is a new stadium – bigger and better – right behind Mesquite High School. It seats a total of 12,000. This is the home of the Mesquite Skeeters who won the state championships in 2001.
