There is plenty of nightlife in Christchurch and they now have a Casino which is close to the Town Hall and some Hotels. There is a free shuttle that operates to and from local hotels/motels each evening after 6.00pm. You need to be 20 years or over and the dress code requires smart casual (no blue/black jeans or track pants). There are the usual restaurants and bars.
