The Duxton Hotel is in a central location close to the business district and the heart of the shopping area. It has 306 rooms in total, a lot with wonderful views of the Swan River or the city itself. There are data lines available for internet access and all rooms have the usual amenities including personal mini-bar and coffee-making facilities. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant called The Grill. There is also a Club Lounge for business travellers. The gymnasium has the latest exercise machines as well as a wet and dry sauna. There is also an outdoor heated pool and spa set in a private courtyard.

The Globe Backpackers are right opposite the train and bus station on Wellington St in new premises. All the rooms are heated and air-conditioned, have private lockers and linen. There are also dormitories with 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 beds. The double and single rooms have private facilities. There is also double and 4-bed rooms with ensuites. The kitchen is open 24 hrs a day and is fully equipped with 4 stove tops, an oven, grill, toaster, kettle, cups, plates, crockery and of course pots and pans. Breakfast is provided free and there is free rice with dinner along with free tea and coffee. The internet café is also open 24/7 and they have computers with Japanese, Korean and Chinese enabled. The complex has courtyard and pool and the Laundromat is open 7 days a week.

The City Stay Apartments are 3½ star accommodation not far from the train/bus station. They have both 1 and 2 bedroom apartments which are self contained. There is a restaurant which is open for breakfast, a gym, pool, spa, gift shop, grocery store and a playground. There is also undercover parking available. The 2 bedrm apartments also have a fax/modem line. apartment accommodation on the edge of central Perth.

The Holiday Inn is centrally located just a block away from Hay St and Murray St Malls. They offer a bar and restaurant and 24 hr room service. They cater for both the business and leisure guests and provide a swimming pool, fitness room, massage, garden, laundry and dry cleaning. All rooms have a TV., in-room movies, minibar, IDD phone, modem socket, desk, hairdryer, coffee/tea making and an iron/ironing board.

The Novotel is very central in the CBD and most of their room shave great views of ther Swong River and the City. Rooms comprise twin and queen rooms, suites with jacuzzi’s and one bedroom apartments complete with a fully equipped kitchen for longer stays. There are two restaurants – The Gazebo with a buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Horsefeathers for casual a la carte dining. There is also Fenian’s Pub which of course sells Guiness with an outdoor terrace area and a place to check your emails or surf the web. The Lobby Bar is open 6 nights a week for more formal relaxing’

The Broadwater Resort Apartments are just up the road from the Hotel side of the complex. The apartments offer accommodation which is suited either for singles, couples or families and large groups. There is plenty to occupy children and adults including a sauna, spa, tennis court, heated indoor/outdoor pool and there are also lots of facilities nearby which include a golf course, cycle and jogging paths. Configuration of the apartments are : 2 Bdrm Apartment - Sleeps 2-4 people, 1 Bdrm with Loft Apartment - Sleeps 2-4 people, 1 Bdrm Apartment - Sleeps 1-2 people, 3 Bdrm Loft Apartment - Sleeps 2-8 people, 2 Bdrm Loft Apartment - Sleeps 2-6 people, 3 Bdrm Apartment - Sleeps 2-6 people. The resort is right next to the Kwinana Freeway and just minutes from the city. Public transport is just a few doors away and shops and a cinema is close by.
