I stayed at the Mascagni hotel at Via Veveto.It was wonderful and the rooms were good and the service exellent.There are plenty of hotels around the city centre,all near the sites in good positions.Here is the web page for the lovely hotel i stayed at.......http://www.venere.com/it/roma/mascagni/index.html.
It was about £50 a person a night,well worth it. Here is the hotel we stayed in.The rooms were beautiful and spotless.

Unique Qualities: The Provincial and State tourist boards can provide advice on accomodation.tel06-48 89 92 55 .It is open from 8.15-7.15pm mon-fri.For a treat,stay at the Majestic hotel where Madonna has stayed.Expensive,but it is beautiful.tel-06-48 68 41.
