I stayed at Via Veneto and there were plenty of great bars and restuarants. There was a good selection of different places ranging from pizza to chinese and sandwich bars.Lunch starts around 1.30-2pm and dinner towards 9pm.Meat and fish dishes are served without veg and they need to be ordered seperatly.Pasta is considered a starter and it is best to avoid anywhere too close to the tourist centres(you will probably eat badly and it is very expensive). The ice-cream and Tiramisu were wonderful and lots of cafes sold delicious rolls with ham, cheese and salad in for about £2 each. The pizza slices were £2 each as well and yummy. An average meal cost around £10-15 for three corses.
Favorite Dish: I loved sitting outside and watching the beautiful fountains lit up in the evenings and the atmosphere was nice. There are bars, restuarants around every corner and you can just take your pick. There are 100`s of squares with fountains that you can eat near and plenty of places up side streets.
