Wonderful beach but hard to get to

We found this delightful town purely by accident. It is about 2-3 miles from Monaco on the 100 Nice to Menton bus route. It is a good place to base yourself to visit Monaco..Cap D Ail means means Cape Of Garlic. You are not allowed to smoke or have dogs on the beach here. The coastal path I tried walking along is called"Sentier du Littoral" and is well worth walking along but in cooler weather as it is very steep and up and down. There are lots of signs along this walk telling you about the flora and fauna along the way.Do be aware that on rough windy days the walk will be closed as it's close location to the sea and it can be dangerous. There are lot's of luxury villas too to be seen on this walk.In July you can goto the beer festival here.In August a jazz festival with concerts that are next to the small port. They begin about 9-9.30pm and you can purchase tickets from the tourist centre for about 10 Euros.(These concerts last 4 nights)
I think the beach here is well worth the steep climb downhill and just leave enough energy to get back up ;-)
