Although not far away from Venice, I visited Trieste for the first time in august 2001.
It was a little surprise for me: I would have never thought it could be such a nice city!
I had an excellent guide, Banjo, who took me around the city and explained me a lot of interesting things.
Unfortunately, I spent there just 2 hours, so I have not so many pictures, but I assure you it's a beautiful city so...why don't you go to see that by yourself?
