I never get tired of Venezia. My parents (on this picture) live 45 minutes from it, so every time I go see them we go to Venice and it honestly never gets boring, it feels like the first time, every time. And I have been visiting it since I was a little girl every year (my grandma lived closed too it before my parents moved there from Switzerland).
The Gondolas, the magnificent buildings, the little streets with bridges everywhere, even the pigeons...how cool is that to have them eat out of your hand, at least I find it amusing.
If you had to visit one place only in your life time, Venice would be it....
- Pros:Magical, a place like no other, so much history, a city all on water
- Cons:Kind of smelly, very crowded, water goes high in certain seasons

Hi Barbara, thank you for your visit! Since you go to venice so often...has it changed much? would have been fun to spend more time there, i was in a bit of ahurry
yes that's all i spent there. however, the transport strike sort of limited everything while i was there
oh yes strikes can definitely mess it all up!! I guess you are going to have to return :)
I saw London Bridge in Lake Havasu, but this seems to be real Venice, not the one in California :)

I love Venice even though, as you say, it doesn't smell very good. But it is like a fairyland for me. I would love to live there for a few months. They do take advantage though. I paid 15 Euros for a hot chocolate. What a shock. Always ask first.
