Neuschwanstein and More - Fussen

This was the fifth day of our weeklong circle trip around Europe. All in all it was an effort to find entertainment and get away from the boat.

We arrived on the train from Amsterdam into Munich and were now day tripping to Fussen and Neuschwanstein. Once we arrived here we found our way to the short bus ride and started the hike up the hill in the snow. Due to the snow I ended up going down the hill the quick way… Once at the top we made our way to the English tour and enjoyed seeing the 16 rooms. Wish we had been able to take pictures but do understand.

I was particularly impressed with this place. Really is a great example of opulence.
