Our friends Barb & Bob live in Ohio. Bob has been battling cancer and spends most of his time in and out of the James Cancer Center in Columbus. We often come to visit Bob to brighten his day and give Barb some much needed support. Unfortunately besides the hotel, some shops, the hospital and few restaurants we haven't seen much else of Columbus. |
|  | Liz first met Bob & Barbara on a trip several years back and instantly became good friends. Over the years they have become family to Liz and now I consider them family as well. They are sweet and caring people that instantly made me feel accepted from the first time we met. |
Buckeyes are the "Candy of Ohio". Buckeyes were first made in 1922 as a tribute to the famous Buckeye trees of Ohio. The chocolates have a creamy peanut buter flavor center and simply melt in your mouth. We were first introduced to these delicious treats by our friends from Ohio and enjoy picking up some whenever we visit Ohio. | | | The Candy of Ohio; "Buckeyes" |
