Go see Central Park. Or any of the other parks in the city. Such a great way to spend the day outside and still be near the life blood that is the city. This is a great idea during the winter as shown or the summer as well. With so so many miles of hiking trains and things to see along the way this is something everyone should experience while in NYC. Being out side is so much better than in. Get up. Go out. Get going. Life isn't waiting for you.

I took some friends to Times Square at midnight as they were about to leave town without seeing it. It is something everyone should see once. Not sure why but there is just something about Broadway 7th ave and 45th coming together and it being daylight at midnight that is cool. After the once though, I'd avoid it.

I used to love coming here. Came back here with Tamir and Tania for the chocolate exhibit in 2003. Was quite interesting. Saw so much that day VT can't hold it all.
This is one of the best museums in NYC and I feel it is often forgotten about in comparison to the art musuems by most tourists.
Museum is open daily except Thanksgiving and Christmas from 10 to 5:45 while the Rose Center stays open late on First Fridays along with the Space Show.

This is one of the coolest "I didnt know this existed" activities in New York. The Wave UFO. It was in the IBM building at 56th and Madison on the back side of Trump Tower. The connect you into the computer with electrodes on your forehead and neck. Its supposed to project a visual of what you are feeling and thinking based on color. They are only open 4 days of the week including Saturday and Sunday but I highly recommend going to check this out. It will be there I believe thru June 2003.

Battery Park and Eisenhower way is a wonderful place to start a walking tour of the city. One of my favorites is quite the hike. Head on the train down to Bowling Green and walk through Battery Park and Battery Park City. Through the old WTC and then head up on the west side and explore and eat and drink your way to the Holland Tunnel. You can also go from Battery Park to the South Street Seaport and on to the Brooklyn Bridge. Come out and walk the city and enjoy this southern most point in Manhattan.

Seems I find myself coming here more and more often. Always something new to be seen. It is one of my favorite museums in the city and I will always recommend coming here to anyone who will listen. You can literally find nearly everything in here that would strike your fancy from a museum.
Closed on Mondays and open only until 530 most days this is a day time event for people. They are open until 9pm on Friday and Saturday. Suggested donation is now $20 for adults. $10 for seniors and students. This is SUGGESTED. You can pay a quarter if you want. Pay what you can and no one will stop you from entering. The lowest price membership is $60 per year for locals and $50 per year if you live outside 200 miles from the museum.

Behind the Library on 42nd and 5th is Bryant Park.
Bryant Park is a special place. In the heart of midtown it is a relaxing oasis to spend some time in the afternoon and break up the workday. Or you can come and see one of the free movies on Monday nights in the summer. On some occasions you can come see the Yankees in the Park where they set up a large screen and show the Yankee game that evening. Anything like this is nice because it brings people out and together. This is a Free WiFi area

Again someplace I have not been in years here in the city. Used to come with my sister when she lived in the city. They have all sorts of tapes of radio programs and tv shows that you can sit and view. I took so long reading the lists my first time we left without me seeing anything as i just couldnt decide what to watch. Have just come into a copy of the radio call of game 3 of the 1963 World Series I must say i would now much rather be into the radio side of the place. And as such should be returning this week.
