Another Westchester Town on the Sound

New Rochelle is another Westchester town on the sound but not as pretentious as some of the others. New Rochelle has a nice mix of people and ethnic backgrounds. It reminds me of Port Chester because of it's shopping, entertainment and restaurants. There is plenty to do in New Rochelle: catch a movie at New Roc City, walk one of the beautiful parks on the water, grab a meal, go shopping or hang out with friends.

Some of my favorite moments in New Rochelle were just sitting in Hudson Park on a bench with Liz and watching the water. Being able to sit by the water and relax has a wonderful effect. We often come here to relax and enjoy each others company before catching a meal or a movie.

The parks of New Rochelle are very nice especially Hudson Park and Glen Island.
