My Wife and her favorite Presidential Memorial

I come here often. It is a city I enjoy as an escape from New York. Close yet far. Similar yet different. It is very much my outlet when I can’t afford a real trip.

Although I have been coming here for years. I have only done the "tourist thing" a couple of times although this is changing as I keep returning.
The Natural History Museum and the Air and Space Museum are my favorites.

In January 2005 I was able to see for the first time the World War 2 memorial. This was very impressive. Very well done. It was at night, and as such it really stood out and made you take notice.

2006 had me back in DC many times. Most recently as the transporter for my sisters christmas gifts. I also came here for thanksgiving and over the summer for the Yankees/Nationals series.

2007 I was a bad brother. I only made it down here once. In 2008 we made it down here twice. One for my niece's birthday.

2010 we made it here several times to see family, some sights and to catch a few flights.
