"I Smell Pecorino ....................." Pienza by cjg1

Pienza is a quaint Tusacan town. I was fortunate enough to have an afternoon visit here with Liz, Melva and Giacomo. The town has some great architecture, small streets, shops and the smell of Pecorino cheese. I had no idea that Pienza was the home of Peccorino cheese making. As soon as I stepped out of the car I said it smelled like cheese. Liz promptly answered that's the first thing she thought when she visited Pienza for the first time.

It turned out to be a fun afternoon of sightseeing and shopping. I was entrusted with carrying the cheese back to the car for Melva....not too heavy but made for a fragrant ride home.

It's a pity you haven't uploaded some pics for your tips here.

Pienza looks like a nice town to visit.

    Ciao!
