%4Avignon is a quaint town on the banks of the Rhone River in the South of France. The city has some beautiful sights: Le pont d'Avignon spanning over the Rhone River, The Popes Palace, the medieval gateways and walls, the Cathedral of Avignon and the beautiful buildings of the town.
Avignon became one of our bases when we explored the Southern Part of France. We were able to take many day trips from Avignon such as our Vineyard and wine tasting trip. Avignon was easy to walk and had some incredible people; we thouroughly enjoyed our stay here. %s* |
