Walking

Walking around Cronulla is quite enjoyable. From the Rail Station it is a ten minute walk to the beach and shopping is even closer. Walking allowed us to find the quirky little shops we so enjoy especially the second hand bookstore.

Taxi

Taxi's are easy to come by at the Rail Station and relatively cheap.

Driving

Driving to Cronulla is easy; finding parking is not always so. There are several parking garages in the area as well as on the street parking but during peak times the spaces are hard to come by. The two times we drove in instead of taking the train we had quite a lengthy search for parking and then a rather lengthy walk to the pub and club.

I prefer taking the train; less hassle.

Take the Bus

Buses are also a way to get around Cronulla or to Cronulla. Three bus lines run to the Cronulla Station as well as several stops around town.

Take the Train

Cronulla is on the Illawarra line of the City Rail and is covered by a purple transit pass. We would catch the train and head out on a 45 minute ride to Cronulla that ended at the Cronulla Station. From the station you can walk, catch a taxi or a bus around town.
