work in slow progress.... Italy is more than a country... italy is more than 20 really different regions with different culture, languages, cuisine.... I do think the best of Italy is out of the traditional touristic circuit rome, florence, venice and pisa. I don't want to say you don't have to visit rome and so on... you can't miss those town... but you really begin to understand italy when you go out. try this under construction site http://www.realvista.it or some good VT page about italy: dnwitte: a really good writing about italy loubess: nice pics about riviera ligure, near genoa and the mountains area near trento you can find a good photo gallery in sim1 italy page another "almost complete" page about italy is Star_dust's page, a pretty huge work about italy

alza Thu May 20, 2004 20:50 UTC my oh my oh my! back to Etruscan times here... even loubess mentioned above. You an archeologist or what? Anyway, hurray, no refueling, no driving. We can BOTH drink Barolo! | iandsmith Mon Feb 2, 2004 12:38 UTC Interesting stuff. Personally I would disagree with you about Taormina and poor old Caltagirone didn't get a mention. So much to see, so little time! | deecat Thu Sep 25, 2003 14:41 UTC So much fun to read your pages for an "insider's" point of view. Thanks for tips; they are quite helpful. I truly enjoyed Liguria while I was there and hope others go to see the beauty. | dr.firas Tue May 27, 2003 16:49 UTC Bonjorno Italia! Would like for sure to visit this wonderful Country once I'm in Europe! :-))) |
