Restaurant Name: enoteca defilla

just read the little blackboard outside the door... that's all you can have for the day (usually a couple of choices). As an alternative you can have a selection of cheese or "salumi".
The food is always excellent, but the real reason to come here is wine, Mr Rossi has a really wide selection of wine and the knowledge to suggest you the best for the occasion.

Favorite Dish: I never had to complain, everithing is really well cooked. As usual, price of course heavily depends on the wine you choose.

Directions: when in piazza matteotti (piazza delle carrozze is how people from chiavari call that place), look for defilla. The entrance of the restaurant is just on the right side of the corner.

Restaurant Name: LUCHIN

Once one of the best local restaurant in italy is now a trendy restaurant and aware of its quality with the consequent loss of quality and rise of prices :-(
Anyway still the best place for traditional ligurian food in the area.

definitely not a place for a candel light dinner, just a sad looking place but serving good food for a more than reasonable price.
