Welcome to my hometown -- Littleton, Colorado. Many of you might have heard of Littleton courtesy of two troubled teens who turned the town on its head when they carried out what has come to be known as the worst high school massacre.

As someone whose niece survived this terrible event, I can tell you that Littleton is a wonderful community that is only stronger as a result of this senseless tragedy. I hope that if you visit Colorado, you will come to Littleton and take the time to see Columbine and the community that surrounds it. Most importantly, we should take to heart the lessons learned -- that tolerance and communication are a must in today's society.
