How could you NOT visit Florence when in Italy? Simply too much to see and do to pass it up. Upon arrival, my wife and I caught up on some much-needed sleep, but the buzzing of Vespa scooters outside became too much to ignore. Not even the rain could keep us indoors. So we traveled by foot and saw the sites -- Duomo, David, Piazza after beautiful Piazza.

Interestingly, Florence was the second city we visited where we came across a Disney Store. As big fans of Alice in Wondlerand, we made it a point to check things out. The day wouldn't have been complete without some gelato, so we indulged.
