Urecht Jaarbeursplein 2004

For my last trip to Ukraine i decided to try a bus this time. So i booked a single ticket for myself and a returnticket for one of our volunteers to Budapest from where we would take the train to Ukraine.
We left 07.08 at Eindhoven by train to Utrecht where the bus left at 09.15hrs.
On the picture the special busstop for international busses to Europe.
With toilet on board and video 2 times a day in Hungarian language..(which i dont understand.). ..and a stop every 3 to 4 hrs. the trip was'nt bad, although i prefers to travel by train most of all because of the possibility to strech the legs now and then and u can take a sleepingcabine.
I was happy not to travel alone because the rest of the passengers were Hungarian people and so were the drivers. The only time the drivers spoke German was during the stops at sevral cities or parkings.

Utrecht is the capital city of the provence Utrecht.

Its the 4th city in the Netherlands, very nice area also with canals!

I have been to Utrecht several times a year when a g.friend of mine lived here with her family. We used to go by train, takes only one 1hr.
She lived near Hoog Catharijne, station and in a town nearby called Nieuwegein.

Unfortunatly i didnt make much pics at that time.
Offcourse i visited the Dom had dinners at a greek restaurant, long walks in the center.

I tried to find a candyshop from "grootmoeders tijd"but cant find any on the net.
I remember that store had very oldfashioned candy, wow.
