Sinterklaas is celebrated at December 5th or 6th for the kids. On the picture my son Hans with a Sinterklaas.. People can hire ä Sinterklaas with Zwarte Pieten" for a visit in ur home if u want. 3 weeks before Sinterklas is coming from Spain...ahum...and he will be welcomed in many cities, sometimes he comes in by boat or by helicopter. In Earlier days he used to ride to the districts on a horse:-) After Sinterklaas is in the Netherlands small kids are putting their shoe somewhere in the house at night before they go to sleep....(years ago we had chimneys but not everu house still has one)... When they wake up there can be some candy or fruit inside their shoes. Many kids are very exited about this event.and on december 5th. some people have organized a surprise night. Some give presents with poems! Some just the presents which are specially wrapped.

most people will miss mountains in Holland , its is very flat. We also have beautfitull nature, only different. Right in the middle of the centre of Eindhoven you can walk from the heart of the centre through of the 'Stadswandelpark' to Genneper Parken. This area is famous for 'de Genneper Watermill' when i go home by bike from my work i like to cycle throug this area. You can walk to the Education Centre, the Historic OpenAir Museum and you can be guided on a tour through a protected nature area called 'Frater Simon del Tour Heempark' more

Museum 'De Muse' http://www.accordeonmuseum.nl/ This museum is located at Malden near Arnhem and Nijmegen. Address:Kerkplein 12 'De Muse' is a unique combination of a museum, a music-café, a accordionspecialtyshop and a repairworkshop. These components fertilize each other and make iet a place where as much knowledge as possible is collected in the field of reed-instruments. In this small but enjoyable museum we like to give you an overview of the birth and evolution of the accordion-family and their ancestors. No matter if you are a player yourself or not, a visit to 'De Muse' is a pleasant experience in any case. MALDEN
