If you have never visited a VT meeting before, and join up with a large meeting, like in Verona, it certainly is overwhelming.

As a rookie at the meeting I didn’t know what to expect. A tour through Verona was one of the assumptions, but this was not in the programme of the official meeting. So we went to the city on Monday after the meeting. (Irisbe, Mahieu, Matcrazy0 and Matcrazy1,) Maybe I can add it as a meeting tip; “Always book an extra day, so if there is something you really want to see and is not part of the programme, you can visit it later.”

What can you expect when you first visit a meeting like this?
It looks like everyone knows each other. Hugs and kisses are flying all around. It’s like one big family, although there are at about 20 different nationalities. The main activities are eating and talking.

Another main activity; belly dancing. Not only for women. It is also the second favourite activity for some men. (after photography.) If you are shy in front of a camera, you will have a problem at these meetings. There is no way that you can avoid your picture being taken.
