Dallas - Fort Worth - Old and New In Harmony The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex is one of the most interesting and complex areas in the United States.
The two cities are about 45 minutes apart, and have essentially grown together because of the emergence of what is locally known as "the mid-cities," a group of towns that lie between the two metropolitan areas.
Dallas is the most urban and metropolitan of the two cities. It has excellent shopping, a hopping club scene and amazing haute-cuisine dining.
Fort Worth is the more relaxed and culturally focused of the two cities. It has a great museums/playhouses, celebrates its' cowboy past, and the best honkeytonks around. |
