La Formentera: La Formentera in the Port

With tables on the sidewalk in the middle of the Ibiza harbour , opposite the docks of the large passenger ferries, thats a seafront restaurant and its a great spot for watching all the clubs parades and the crowd.

Favorite Dish: We had the mixed fish paella - good but have to admit had better...

As all San Antonio there’s a very strong British influence. so even if the menu is meant to be international - fusion, still suffers from unhappy English inspiration:)
I had some raw medium cooked tuna - which was great but struggled to remove the catch up from it:)

lovely fresh seafood - prawns, baby squid, excellent salad, great cava & very friendly staff

America: On playa de Figueretas, America

This was the lousiest restaurant where we dined with the lousiest service, food & wine.
so this was our secret joke during a week that for our last night well come and celebrate there.
the weirdest thing is that was recommended by our hotel staff as one of the best seafood places in town (do locals hate tourists that much???) and in the restaurant we met an English family who was delighted about everything even by my disgusting basic pizza ...
we had pastas and pizzas just trying to be on the safe side (but still they had a weird taste) and I had half bottle of Rioja wine - the only awful Rioja that happened in my whole life - the wine only was 20 Euros!
horrible - but we still have a good laugh thinking about that night!:)

La Toretta: inside the forthress - La Toretta

we had a very romantic dinner:) with candles and Vivaldi live. the food was delicious - prawn gazpacho, pork steak & baby squid on a garlic bed..cava was sublime and the service was perfect
plus we met a very friendly funny German couple coming twice a year to Ibiza since 72 and heard some very funny stories about Pacha, clubs, entrance, drugs:)
