"Tabarka & les aiguilles (the needles)" Gouvernorat de Jendouba by Oana_bic

Tabarka is located in the northwest of Tunisia, in a picturesque area between mountains and sea and very close to its neighbour Algeria (about 15 km). The area is great for hiking and other outdoor activities. The waters around the area abound with fish and coral, making it a good place for fishing, scuba diving and underwater photography. Nearby are excellent golf courses.
Tabarka was obviously a favorite of the Romans too as they left their mark on the region-towns which can now be visited by history-loving tourists.
