I stayed in a bed and breakfast in Dun Laoghaire. Traveled by car around Ireland and spent some time in Dublin. We arrived Jan 2nd and stayed two weeks. The weather was rainy and drizzling but hardly noticable there were so many interesting sites and people to meet. It also snowed one day while we were there. That made everything extremely beautiful. It was a wonderful trip and the locals were not overwhelmed by the summer tourist rush. Everywhere we went people were friendly and there were no lines at any place we visited. We went to Clifdon a lovely sea side town. Visited Blarney Castle. We toured the Waterford crystal factory. In Dublin we visited Trinity College, the National Museum, St. Patrick's Cathedral, St. Stephen's Green, and Dublin Castle.
