Mr. Dinh has been in business on Nha Tho Street for 9 years. Need something to read at bedtime? A travel guide to Vietnam or Hanoi? A Vietnamese phrasebook? Mr. Dinh has it all. He's a nice guy. Don't be fooled my imitations. Dinh is pronounced "ding"

What To Buy: Sells, exchanges new and secondhand books.

What To Pay: Much less than the US price, normally. Many books are used.

the buses are nice??? i had to take a bus sometimes to get to the national university and there were literally 200 people crammed in there... not really, what i'd call "nice" ;-) your cyclo tip is great, that's one of the most awful tourist traps
    Harald&Wendy.au Thu Feb 2, 2006 07:58 UTC
Your tip re taking a cyclo is very interesting, although I would maybe agree that all the aparent agro would make it more pleasant to walk!
