Passion for Travel

My passion for travel started at a young age. I was born in Colorado to an American father and a Filipino mother. Because of that, I've got dual citizenship with the US and the Philippines. Although my mother has not yet taken me to the Philippines, I plan on traveling there before I get attached to a career so that I've got time to absorb the other half of my culture.

I've got a huge family that lives all over the United States, Canada, and some still in the Philippines. Since I was small, my parents took me all over the country to visit aunts and uncles in Seattle, Texas, California, Chicago, Philadelphia, Nebraska, Virginia, and elsewhere.

I left North America for the first time in 2002 and have been throughout Western Europe as far north as Sweden and as far south as Italy.

These trips with my family have bred a passion for travel and a sense for diving into the unfamiliar.

Living Abroad

I just finished living in Uppsala, Sweden for one year as an exchange student. I first visited Sweden in 2002 and decided that I would make my way to Sweden again someday, be it on study abroad or just to live in a different country. I had a wonderful experience and hope to spend more time there in the future.
