    Getting TO/AROUND: U may fly to the capital Dili from Denpasar, Bali/ Indonesia or from Darwin, N. territory, Australia. Coming from Europe I normally choose the first option. No safe, reliable boat connection to the island.
    Buy the airfare locally. When in Bali, I used Arowana travel agency.

    Getting TO/AROUND: ...but do u mind???
    Roads from the capital DILI to the south, Maubisse, Ainaro and Same, or to the east, Baucau, Laga and Los Palos are no good, but generally paved. There are some local busses, departing from the three "bus stations", another alternative is to hire a local truck for a few days' trip!
