Colorado became one of those experiences in our travels ,we will never forget. The mountains and their views. The scary heights and unbelieveable beauty of this state has followed us where ever we were going. And here are some pictures we brought back. As flat as the country appears while we drove, we were reminded that we were at an elevation of 5228 feet in a town called Arniba. The sky had billowed up with clouds and it looked like a thunderstorm was approaching. Turning toward Denver , we left the dark clouds behind us and were heading toward blue sky. It was 7 pm when we arrived in Denver. The city shone as an ocean of lights with is homes all lit up reflecting in the background the grand-mountain silhouettes. The dark thunderclouds had cought up to us again. We sought refuge next to a big white factory for " Dog Chow " Here we were at an elevation of 5,388. The next day we saw " Mile High Stadium/ Denver Bronco " |
