Pattaya is a 2 hour bus ride from Bangkok and although the beaches are not good for swimming (a bit polluted) they are great for relaxing on. The outer islands have very clear water and well worth a visit. Pattaya has got a rather bad name for its sleazy side but it also has lots of nice restaurants and shopping malls....thousands of visitors can't be wrong!!! |
