Maybe it was 'cuz of the crowds of Venice, maybe it was 'cuz of the kindness of Signora Di Nisio, maybe it was just the city itself: I fell in love with this city on my very first day...
Treviso is located on a plain at the junction of Sile and Botteniga rivers. It is one of the prettiest cities of Veneto Region, and a "must see" if you are in the region. Touristst generally skip this beautiful city as it is so close to Venice, which is a hardly comparable city in the world.
My advice would be to reserve a few hours of visit to Treviso as it is so close to Venezia.
