A CITY UNDER THE SHADOW OF VENICE Maybe it was 'cuz of the crowds of Venice, maybe it was 'cuz of the kindness of Signora Di Nisio, maybe it was just the city itself: I fell in love with this city on my very first day...
Treviso is located on a plain at the junction of Sile and Botteniga rivers. It is one of the prettiest cities of Veneto Region, and a "must see" if you are in the region. Touristst generally skip this beautiful city as it is so close to Venice, which is a hardly comparable city in the world.
My advice would be to reserve a few hours of visit to Treviso as it is so close to Venezia. |
