<I>(This photo was taken of Oatman long ago, I found it in the jail/museum tour. They have many intriguing items from the town's rich history...)</I>
While staying at Laughlin, Nevada or Bullhead City, Arizona,
Oatman is a place where young and old, can have a memorable time
just checking out the shops and sights. There is a nice a candy
store full of every kind of candy that you can think of, and
even the favorite old time flavors are there...like licorice,
anise, horehound, sassafras and clove for example. You can get
your photo taken in authentic gunfighter garb, or barmaid finery,
if you have a mind to. There is a shop with oodles of beautiful
dolls, and even an antique store filled with aged bottles and
other antiquities left over from a time when Oatman was a booming
mining town instead of it's ghostly status of the present.
