Well important think that tourists must know is that when u go Lahore through Dawoo bus u arrive at Kalma choak which is on the one end of lahore (at the end of new Lahore). And since most of the tourists are intrusted in visiting historical places of Lahore which are on the other end of Lahore in the part called old Lahore so either u can go for local bus u have to pay some 30 Ruppies and reach Batti Choak Or Call "Yaadgaar" I would suggest u to use word "Yaadgaar"it is local name of "Minar-e-Pakistan" (it is very clase to the famous Badshahi Msjid) and from there u can go for ur old Lahore tour or u can go to Anarkali bazzar through local bus. and u can start old lahore journey.
The other way is that you use other buss survice which stops at "Larri Adda" Lahore (larri - buss Adda -stop) that is going to be cheep and u will be in the Old lahore u can take a rikshaw to lead you to Bdshahi Masjid and u can continue ur visit through Old Lahore.
But in case you have to reach somewhere on time then don't try for larry adda busses ey are never on time.Go for Dawoo Buss it is costly but worth paying and then u can take a cab or Taxi to reach anywhere.Taxi is expansive than rikshaw ofcourse but is fast and their is high possibility that u will resach on time. For small distances u should go for rikshaw. for large distance Taxi is better. For budget travel use local busses they are very cheap.
Don't ever ever forget to bargain for rikshaw and taxi rates. U can also consult some locals for knowing the rikshaw reates.
Dawoo Bus rates are always increasing so if u are told 300 now then 2 weeks later or 3 the rates are going to be 350 or 380..... so don't get shocked
