I was born in The Middle-East In Syria in small village from Mixed parents Syria Halab Afrin, the region that has long been discriminated against and misunderstood by many people worldwide especially by the western world including my friends, family and myself. Most travellers don't consider travelling to this region due to the political unrest and religion conservative and safety of cours, the Middle East has too many coulous and too many attractions to offer and is the place for three of the seven wonders in the world Iraq the hung gardens,Egypt the pyramids and Jordan the Petra. The Middle East has very rich history and best evidence are the ruins and the castle that are widespread in every country.
Once a person visit Middle-East he definitly falls in love with the region not surprised because of the many perks and attraction that the region has to offer. Not only are they incredible but there are so many different styles of buildings that exist in the region.Emirates is of the most modern example of Middle-East and Syria with its ruins and amazing attractions and extremly and friendly hospitable people. Egypt has the ancient wonders ranging from the Pyramids to Abu Simbel while Jordan has the beautiful ruins of Petra and Jerash. Israel with its amazing beachs and the holy city of Jeusalem. Kurdistan of Turkey and Syria is a paradise for trekkers. the Middle East still humbles me when I least expect it whether it is the stunning sunsets or hospitable people. Born in in the Middle East has opened up my eyes and mind in so many different ways and made me understand the culture the way people think.
After your journy to Middle East you will overwhilmers and be in awe :) The experience that you wil gain it will definitly enrich your knowledge about the region and will make bring you to the history of thousands of years ago
Living in London could be stressing some times if you got used to a small city like me from Amsterdam and london with a population of 8 million while Amsterdam has less than 1 million residents. Not to mention that is almost impossible to bike in London while biking in amsterdam is very easy and safe.
Also rush hour in london is crazy and like hell
But let me be fair in judgment London is much more alive during the week, Amsterdam can be dead sometimes during the week since Amsterdamers tend to go out in weekends.&c*
British are big boozers drinkers they even start drinking in the morning.
I live in London since 29/6/2010 I was so excited to move to London from Amsterdam.worth to mention that most of pubs in London close at 11 pm. Bear in mind that prices in London could vary from cheap to very expensive is a matter of looking for the right venues and checking prices unless you have fat wallet.
From my travel experience around the would the more centre you are in one city the more expensive it gets, methinks London is an exception .
The most used and common way to travel through London is by tube(underground) metro.you can almost reach every where with it.you can purchase a dayticket you can use it for all public transportation zone 1&2 costs about 7 pounds.also every tube line has a colour and a name.worth to mention that when you travel In the weekend check transport online www.tfl.co.Uk because most construction work take place on weekends.
Traveling from london airports could be cheap sine london has 5 airports yes 5. Let's count heathrow,Luton, gatwick, stanstede and of cours london city airport on river Thames.
London has too Many people from different backgrounds but the dominated race is Asian mainly Indian and paki.
They are almost every where in every corner and venue so get use to it.
The Netherlands Holland,Hollanda the country of tulips, windmills, where soft drugs are allowed, prostitution is legal, the country that was first to allow people marry of the same sex.
Netherlands is a flat country made it easy to bike that's why is very common to use bikes as a method of mobilising in there.
Amsrerdam is the capital and has less than 1 million inhabitants
Amsterdam is believed to be the city of more than 150 nationalities.
Holland has 2 big morrocan and Turkish community.
Dutch are the tallest people in world
Amsterdam is a lovely city to have a have walk in, but bear in mind that Amsterdam is a biking city ,so when you walk or cross the streets watch out of the bikes .Actually be aware of bikes more than being aware of the cars or public transportation .
Did you know that :
You can BUNGY JUMP in Amsterdam
For those who find Amsterdam too flat, unforgettable experience could be Bungy Jump Holland, located near Central Station at Oostelijke Handelskade web site: www.bungy.nl. available between form 1 May to 31 October 1200-2100 daily (except Tuesday and Wednesday in May). The cost is 100€ first jump.
Review about some Dutch food and beverages :
Dinner in Holland starts at about 6 o'clock in the evening. The old-fashioned Dutch dinner consists of one simple course: beans or potatoes, meat and vegetables. Traditionally potatoes with a large portion of vegetables and a small portion of meat with gravy, or a potato and vegetable stew. A typical traditional Dutch dinner would include stamppot (Dutch mashed potato mixed with other mashed vegetables) and pea soup.
-
Another dish served at the dinner table is a very thick pea soup, called snert.
-
Hutspot, made with potatoes, carrots, and onions served with meats like rookworst (smoked sausag.
-Zuurkoolstamppot, sauerkraut mashed with potatoes. Served with fried bacon or a sausage
Fast food: Friets fries , frikandel (a deep fried, skinless minced meat sausage), and the kroket (meat ragout covered in breadcrumbs, deep-fried).
Sweets : on New years eve Dutch cook oliebollen butered apple rings.
Jenever: is the straight Dutch gin.
Bols and Heineken: are the two main distillers of jenever in Holland. Bols was founded by Lucas Bols in 1575. Heineken is famous for the best selling jenever of all, Bokma Jonge.
Coebergh: Dutch Berry Gin Classic
Juttertje: Spice Liquor
Hartevelt: Dutch Lemon Gin
Hooghoudt: Dutch Double Grain Gin is madfrom grains (barley, rye and wheat), corn wine, herbs and double stoked jeneverberrie. Hooghoudt Dutch Double Grain Gin has it's own delicious taste and soft character%c%

hello how are u?
Happy Birthday Alexi! Have a great day!
Happy birthday, greetings from Hungary!
Hi, Alexi!~ Happy birthday!~
I enjoyed your Aleppo and Afrin pages. They are very educational especially those cultural ones...I am amazed of how much culture we have to learn even before visiting these areas- just a show of respect...
Hi,
Catherine thanks for the interest. Yes, I encourage you to think is lovely amazing destination and unforgetable experience.
Hi
What a fascinating insight into Syrian life! Damascus is one of those 'bubbling under' destinations that I've never really thought too hard about. Maybe I should think a bit harder???
Regards
Cathy
