There is an addition to our family as we are blessed with a boy yesterday (March 8, 2012).
Misha was initially shocked to see her mother on the hospital bed but she received her brother, bhai, quite enthusiastically. So there will be four of us, inshallah, in our future travels.
Right from our first trip together, I found Urooba (wife) brave and tasteful. It is not still three months when we visited Cairo and she was always a step ahead of me while roaming around the busy downtown and elsewhere.
Btw, she was recently featured in the 'Travelogue Mom' section of Expert Pregnancy and Parenting magazine for our Bali trip.
Now I am thinking of giving her a big gift, i.e. another memorable trip of her selected location, inshallah.

The Greatest of All Canyons!
Even the picture above does not justify the wilderness of this tortuous mountain pass and the magnanimity of the landscape which is located around 250 paved kilometers from the noisy Karachi. The setting is amazing and still under-explored as the area was landlocked until the development of the Makran Coastal Highway a few years back.
To have a glimpse of what this breathtaking road drive has to offer, take a virtual tour with me!
