Take A Taxi Taxis / Water Taxis Review

The transportation systems in Sydney are quite excellent and we only found the need to use a Taxi once on our way back to the airport. We had an early flight and wanted to make sure we arrived on time for our check in.

Ferries Ferry / Jet Cat / River Cat Review

In my opinion taking a ferry is the best way to get around besides walking. I loved riding the ferries to Watsons Bay, Manly, Taronga Park and Balmain. Even when we didn't have a destination in mind we just hopped aboard a ferry for our own pleasre cruise. I love being out on the water and seeing the beautiful Harbour views.

Circular Quay is the main hub of the Sydney Ferry System. This is where you can catch a ferry to 39 different destinations such as Manly, Watsons Bay, Balmain, Double Bay,Parramatta and
Taronga Zoo. There are differebnt types of vessels in the "ferry" system such as: Freshwater Class, Lady Class, River Cats, Harbour Cats, Super Cats and First Fleet.

No matter what class of vessel you take you are guarantee a great ride and a wonderful view of Sydney.

The Monorail was fun like Disney World... - Sydney

The Monorail was fun like Disney World...

Monorail Monorail Review

ydney has a monorail that rides around some of the central business areas as well as Darling Harbour. We road the Monorail just to experience it for ourselves and check out Sydney from a different perspective. Riding high above definitely gave us a good view of Darling Harbor and Star City. It was a fun ride and I'm glad we tried it.

Lightrail Trains Review

The Sydney Lightrail service operates between Central Station and Lilyfield. Stations are Capital Square, Paddy's Market, Exhibition Centre, Convention, Pyrmont Bay, Star City, John St Square, Fish Market, Wentworth Park, Glebe, Jubilee Park & Rozelle. The lightrail runs 24 hours a day and most trains run every 10-15 minutes.

We used the Lightrail SYstem to go from Capital Square to the Fish Market and from the Fish Market to Paddy's Market. It was an easy and quick way to get where we were going. It also provided a different view of Sydney from the rail car.

Waiting for the bus - Sydney

Easy and Convienient Buses Buses Review

Buses were an easy way to get around Sydney. We frequently caught a bus from Circular Quay, Potts Point, Hyde Park and Bondi Junction. Each bus stop has the route number, time table, destinations and route maps. The buses were clean and ran on time. It was a pleasure to use this form of transportation when we were in Sydney.

Airport Rail Link Trains Review

When we arrived in Sydney we took the Airport Rail Link to the St. James Station. The Rail Link runs from the Airport Terminal through the Domestic Terminal at Sydney Airport to the City Circle train line stopping at Central, Museum, St James, Circular Quay, Wynyard and Town Hall Stations in the city. The train runs every 10 minutes and the trip took about 10 minutes from the airport to our stop at St. James. This was a quick and easy way to get to our hotel from the airport.
