I have heard the saying; "A man travels the world over in search of what he needs, and returns home to find it." This was definitely the case when it came to finding my love. I have found my Bashert in my Christopher (CJG1). Bashert, is Yiddish for Destiny. It is believed that before a male child is born it is anounced in Heaven who the child is destined to marry; thus the marriage is preordained by God. Another story is that before a sould is sent from Heaven to Earth; God divides the soul in half. The two halves then are born into a girl child and a boy child. These two children must find each other in order to be "complete"; they are "soul mates".
On November 13, 2009 Christopher and I were married. We were married by a fellow Vter and man in kilt; David (Newyorkerman). It was a lovely and private ceremony. A week later we left for Turks & Caicos for another ceremony beachside and our honeymoon. My life is everthing I wished it could be.... I have a great man at my side who is a caring and loving husband for me. I am truly blessed and am thankful for this great love. Together we can wander the world knowing that we have found our best destiny and true happiness.*
Over the years I have traveled to some wonderful places. I have my favorite both here in the United States and abroad. In the US there are some great cities and towns. Some of my favorites are: NYC, Orlando, Salem, Newport, Savannah, San Francisco, Sedona. I'm a confessed Disney Fanatic and have visited both Walt Disney World and Disneyland so many times it borders on obsesive.
As for foreign cities and towns I love: Sydney, Perth, Mahe, Avalon, London, Bath, Canterbury, Dublin, Cortona, Rome, Pienza, Saturnia, Monaco, Paris, Nice, Nimes, Avignon, Versailles, Giverny, St. Tropez, Eze, Beaux, Frankfurt, Pisa, Budapest and assorted islands in the Caribbean.
There are so many wonderful places that I have visited and can't wait to return.
If you want to view paradise, Simply look around and view it, Anything you want to, do it, Want to change the world, there's nothing to it- Willy Wonka*
If you can dream it, you can do it.-Walt Disney
In life there are always people that inspire and some of them leave a lasting impression. I have been blessed in life to have inspirational people around me to guide and protect me. Cherish the people you love every day...you never know if that goodbye is the last thing you say to them....
My husband recently lost the sight in his right eye from unexplained hemmorages in the eye. No cause was found but his sight is forever lost in the one eye. Despite this horrible diagnosis he has remained positive and hasn't let self pity or depresion creep in. His is still the same wonderful person despite this affliction. His strength and courage through all of this is amazing to me...and makes him even more beautiful in my eyes.
Keep your family healthy; see the doctor for routine screening such as mamograms and pap smears. Wear sunblock and get your skin checked by a dermatologist. Early detection is the best tool to surviving cancer.
All God's angels come to us disguised. -James Russell Lowell
For every soul, there is a guardian watching it. - The Koran
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.

Life is full of simple pleasures. I enjoy the simple things in life that bring a smile to my face. Some of the simple things are:
A Smile from my Christopher
Gazing at beautiful flowers
Breathing in the fresh air
Walking on the beach
Enjoying a Bubble Bath
Curling up by a Fire with a Book
Snuggling in Bed and talking about life
Drinking delicious cocktails on the beach
Gathering Sea Shells
Talking a walk or a drive just to see where I end up.
Curling up in a hammock on the beach
Waking up wrapped up in the arms of my baby.
All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. -Walt Disney
My travels have taught me that you can't plan for everything. Just as in life; travel has twists, turns and the unexpected can happen.
I have always found it best to visit a new place without any pre-conceived ideas about the place. I like to experience a new city, town or country with a fresh outlook. Every canvas is blank; just awaiting the colors of life to make it a masterpiece.
I also believe in not being the stereotype"THE UGLY AMERICAN TOURIST". Attempt to speak the language of the country; don't be rude and expect people to speak English simply because you do. Don't dress like you are going to the gym; show respect for yourself and dress nicely. Carry yourself with dignity and use good manners: please and thank yous are always appreciated. *
*I live my life according to my conscience. I don't let popular opinion decide for me what the "right" thing to do is. I treat people the way I expect to be treated. I do not go out of my way to be negative or mean. I live my life through positive actions and thoughts. I surround myself with good, positive people and it has served well over the years.
I am blessed to have loving and caring friends, family and the best husband a woman could ever want; my Christopher. I love spending time with family; it is an important part of my life. My family has made me what I am today; a strong and confident woman.
I value the good and honest people in my life who are truthful and love me for who I am. I have never understood why some people cannot love themselves and feel the need to try to be "someone" that they are not. Don't envy the traits, qualities or posssesions of others.... Be thankful for what you have as a person....these individuals usually end up bitter and alone in the end...what a waste of life. I can't change people but I accept them for who they are: good or bad.
I'm a naturally silly person and love to laugh. A day without laughter is unheard of in my life. I enjoy making others laugh and smile. Laughter is a cure for many things in my opinion.......
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss

You know when you have found your prince because you not only have a smile on your face but in your heart as well. ~Author Unknown
When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. ~Nora Ephron, (When Harry Met Sally)
Kiss me,
and you may see stars.
Love me,
and I will give them to you.
In the era of competition the ideal of woman has become somewhat hard and "efficient". Perhaps this will be once overcome when a real lady steps forwad, in her refined and composed brilliancy." - Kersti Bergroth

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
