One of my favourite places to be...

I have always idealized Italy and its particularities. I studied the language in University, I dreamed of studying at my University's 'campus' in Cortona, I revelled in the cooking style, I read the books... and I dreamed.

One of the places that epitomizes Italy to me is Cortona.

I have not travelled a great deal but I have travelled to Cortona on both of my trips to Italy and stayed nearly five days each time.

Even a town as small as Cortona has many secrets, which take time to reveal. There are many nooks and crannies to be explored. Many roads to walk. Meals to enjoy. And time to spend.
