A quick jaunt to Paris!

by christineintheworld - last update: Apr 13, 2009

Our Paris trip was an absolute whirlwind... I arrived on a Thursday and was gone by Wednesday. Some people ask, why would you go for such a short period of time? I would respond with, why wouldn't you go, even for a brief snippet of time!?

You have to choose what you have time for and what you don't. Choosing amongst the plethora of options can be a challenge... but a fun one at that!

I agree, this scam seems to have generalised in the last few months. I almost got caught by it too near Concorde. When I wouldn't give him any money, he asked for the ring back and then walked off!!!

The little bit about credit cards being accepted was useful; thanks. For travel to and from CDG, the Yellow Van Shuttle sounds more convenient (though three times more expensive).

nice page, lots of pastries, hope someday to get back. l'atelier JR must have been incredible, but the random bakeries are as big a treat here and elsewhere in europe. not the same in n america. thanks for sharing. n.
