The Jet d’Eau, the water-fountain in the lake – the trademark of the city. This is a 140 meters (some 460 feet) high water monument. The fountain pumps 500 litres (some 132 gallons) of water per second into the air. It is close to the point where the Rhône leaves Lake Geneva.

The 'Flower Clock' is spectacular to be sure, but here in Chicago, we have a REAL fountain - looks like the Swiss have succeeded in building the world's most powerful bidet, though (a "Jet d'Oooooooooh!" ;-)
