Dayton Ohio was the home of the Wright brothers that invented the modern heavier than air flying machine. The city is proud of its history in aviation and has many attractions related to this theme. The midsized industrialized city is the home of the Wright Patterson Air Force base, the United States Air Force museum, and an annual air show at the airport, a great place to see restored vintage planes and modern jet fighters flying in formation. My travels to Dayton have been for pleasure, mainly with my family.
