Sedona 1 or how I got there.

Getting here was half the fun. We drove up from Phoenix via highway 60 to 89A via Wickenburg. The road from 89A to Sedona was fantastic with great views around every corner. Warning! the road is curvy and for those of you who tend to car sickness drive slow to avoid the obvious. You drive through Prescott (nice town), then Jerome (nice town, lots of tourist shops and restaurants), Cottonwood (take the old town exit and drive through the old town) then on to Sedona. The route is definitely longer (5 hours with lots of stops) but worth the effort if you like to get off the Freeways.
