Lezha, like most other cities in Albania, is a a very well kept secret. Lezha offers so many things to visitors. If its beaches you're after, check-out Shengjin or Ishull Lezha. If you're religious, Lezha has 2 old churches, a mosque and a brand new cathedral that are all worth stoping to see. Historically, Lezha is very important to Albania. Lezha is where Skanderbeg united the 14 tribes of Albania against the Ottoman occupation of Albania. If you're looking for a good meal or coffee, stop down at one of the numerous restaurants or cafes that line the cities main streets.
