El Valle de Anton (popularly known as El Valle) is a little town nestled in the mountains of Cocle Province, 123 km west of Panama City. It makes a nice day trip from the city.
The highlights of the town are a beautiful waterfall, some interesting petroglyphs, and an Indian arts and crafts market.
There's also a rainforest canopy ride, but it's expensive and probably not very safe, so we skipped it.
