The Museum is closed in 2008
For this museum we, Ingrid und Georg Taupe have upholsterd the old premises of this possesion of our family which was mentioned in the old documents at the first time in the year of 1630. We did it with hard work, much enthusiasm and a lot of love.
Today this museum is unique in Europe. We show you exclusively artistic, contemporary dolls from the studios of the best known international artists. As a special high point are unique items in porcelain and cernit, that are not to be admired elsewhere - and year for year they increase.
In our former vaulted rooms of the old stables you will find today a great diversity of artistic handwork of all kinds - and naturally - something we are especially proud of as a special shop - the most diverse kinds of artistic dolls and liturature on the subject. People nosy on dolls but connoissours and even children are enthusiastic if the go for a walk in this dreamworld of Doll Art. Mostly a new fascination is born!
