Getting the Travel Bug

When I was 16 I took my first trip outside of the US - with my parents to visit my brother who was living in Rome, Italy at the time. We were there for Holy Week and was likely the moment that I caught the Travel Bug. I've been crazy about learning about other countries and cultures ever since then.

Fortunately, I was able to land a job on the "other side of the pond" so I'm able to feed the Bug much more easily. Now that I'm an expat living and working in Spain, traveling is a bit of an obsession (as long as it's in within my budget, of course). I try to feed it whenever possible!
